Family Portraits in the Park
The fall colors only come around once a year and that time is almost here. This is the perfect time to have your family portrait made. Join us in the park for a mini 1/2 hour session.
This is sure to be booked solid so make sure you don't miss out! These sessions are timed to take advantage of Michigan's fall colors at their absolute peak! Sessions will be in the morning and afternoon to take advantage of the best light as well. Cloudy, overcast days provide perfect lighting.

$99 Portraits in the Park Special
- We always get lots of different groups during the session, including: the family, the kids, the grand parents and the parents.
- Includes our Mini Package (One pose: 1 8x10, 2 5x7's, 4 4x5's)
- Two dates: Oct. 11 and Oct. 18
- Appointments are booked when the light is best from 9:00AM to 5:00PM and scheduled every 30 minutes.
How to reserve your time
Call or email us to inquire about available time slots. Then submit payment for your session. We accept cash, check, or credit. The retainer is non refundable (unless we're rained out) and is used to guarantee your date and time. Please Note: We never hold or "tentatively" book a time or date until we receive your retainer.

What happens if it rains?
Unfortunately in October, rain is not unusual. If this happens on the day you're scheduled, we will call you to schedule another date or a cancellation. We'll keep some open dates just in case this happens!

What to wear
Generally, Portraits in the Park are casual sessions sitting on the grass and leaves. Sweaters and blue jeans always look great. Try to dress everyone in a similar color because this will help show your family's closeness.
Try and avoid light pastels, bold stripes or patterns or anything that is too distracting. Keep in mind that dark colors have a "slimming" effect. Avoid white socks and white running shoes as they're very distracting. Be sure to avoid clothes with any kind of large logo, design, team name, etc. Dark, solid colors look best!
Feel free to bring the family pet if you like. The wind is unpredictable so extra hair spray is usually a good idea.
