Photographer
Some photography studios send whoever is available that day to photograph your wedding. All of the beautiful images you see at their studio might not even have been taken by your wedding photographer. When you book Von Ins Photography, that's exactly who you'll get: us - Shawn & Julie Von Ins. We're a husband and wife team so there will be two of us ensuring that you look your absolute best!
Coverage
You may notice in our packages that we don't have hourly coverage. Our typical coverage begins with the putting on of the dress and ends after the first dances. This could take six hours, or it could take ten hours, it just depends on the wedding day schedule. You won't have to worry about watching the clock with us! Every wedding is unique, so we can customize the coverage just for you.
Engagement Session
At a local location of your choosing, we'll create a series of captivating portraits of you and your groom to be. Use one of these images to announce your engagement in the newspaper. One of these images will also be used on your Reception Table cards. Moreover, you can also use a selection of these images to produce a custom designed guest book that is anything but the same old boring book that you've seen at every other wedding. This session is also a wonderful opportunity for all of us to get to know one another, and is a small preview of how we'll work together on your wedding day. Not only that, but you'll also receive a free 8x10 from your session!
Custom Designed Proofs
After the wedding, you don't have to attempt to choose your favorite images. There will be so many of them that it would be an impossible task! Unlike other studios, you get all of your proofs to keep! What's the advantage of having 600 finished images of your wedding, and you only get to choose 100-200 of them? This is an incredible value! All collections include all of your proofs in a custom book, and 4x6 printed proofs are also available.
Locations
It's your day and you shouldn't be charged extra for spending it the way that you want. Prior to the reception, if you want your formal portraits captured at the beach or another place that's special to you, then no problem. We'll capture you having the time of your life, at no additional cost!
Travel Fees
We don't like travel fees any more than you do and for the most part we avoid them. The rule of thumb that we use is whether or not we'll need to get a hotel room. Depending on how far away or how late into the night the reception goes is what we base this on. This won't be a hidden charge and you'll know what it will be before you book your wedding.
Unlimited Images
Because we use the latest digital technology, there's no limit to the number of images we take of your day. Typically, we take between 1500-2500 images at a wedding. The reason for the large variance is that every wedding is as unique as every bride and groom. However many images it takes to tell the story is how many will be created. After the "blinkers" and duplicate poses are eliminated, you're still likely to have over 400 finished, custom designed proofs.
Online Viewing
You'll be able to share your wedding day with anyone who has internet access. All of your images that tell the story of your wedding day will be online in your own private web gallery. You can share your day with your friends, family, and others who usually never get the chance to see your photos. Your family and friends can also order directly from your gallery, so you don't have to bother with everyone's orders. Everyone will get 25% off their orders for the first 30 days. Your images will remain online for 90 days.
Reception Cards
These are placed on the tables at your reception to thank them for joining you on your special day and to invite your guests to view your pictures online. They are customized with your names and a beautiful photo from your engagement session.
Slideshows
One of the newest ways to re-live your wedding day, a beautiful slideshow on DVD set to romantic music is the best way to experience the emotions you had that day. Watching your photos come alive telling your story is better than any wedding video we've ever seen. You're going to absolutely love this!
Savings on Enlargements
Just for our wedding clients, you'll be able to take advantage of some incredible savings on enlargements. For a limited time after you receive your proofs, our reprint prices will be 25% off. It's the perfect time to get those extra portraits to give to family and friends. There's no easier way to get your Christmas shopping done early!
Albums
There is such a large variety of albums available from your traditional matted albums to the elegant and artistic coffee table style books. Parent books are also available. If you order more than one copy of your album, you'll be eligible for some very nice discounts on those additional books. We're extremely flexible in this area to provide you with just the right album to fulfill your needs.
